Prior to your departure for Basic Military Training (BMT) and Technical School, you're required to attend the Development and Training Program (D&TF). The program will consist of exercises to mentally, physically and academically prepare you for the requirements of Basic Training and the Air Force Reserve. The D&TF is a mandatory formation for which you will receive military pay and compensation benefits.
